Xiaomi Expected To Debut Its Under The Screen Camera Tech With Mi Mix 4

Agatha Tang, the company’s head of global PR, posted a teaser on Twitter touting the clear screen design without a notch or a hole punch.

Reports in June indicated that the firm could include this tech in multiple phones releasing this year, including the Mi Mix 4. Earlier this week, a leaker called Digital Chat Station shared a video of the Mi Mix 4 on Chinese social network Weibo showing off the invisible selfie camera under the screen and a super flexible display. Other leaks have hinted that the device will have a 4,500 mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support and 80W wireless fast charging support. Notably, other companies such as Oppo and Samsung have only managed to showcase this tech in prototype devices. Xiaomi would be the second company in the world to debut this in a commercial device after ZTE, which has launched two phones with under-the-screen selfie tech.
