Fortunately, there’s a solution to our collective predicament: make memes to mask the pain, using a piping hot batch of ‘Hide the Pain Harold’ stock photos. András Arató, AKA Hide the Pain Harold, just dropped pics from an autumn photoshoot he did with Karola Tariszekely — and they’re gorgeous. For those of you who don’t know ‘Harold,’ he’s a Hungarian stock photo model who accidentally found internet fame as his forced smile perfectly captured the suppressed pain of modern existence.
And his pained expression continuous to convey our collective existential dread. The new photos of Arató are just what the doctor ordered to deal with shorter days and general autumn bullshit. So let’s take a look at our fresh new canvas. This one’s an absolute stunner. The vacant, pain-ridden stare surrounded by beautiful fall colors, absolutely ripe for deeply insightful meme-making. Then we’ve got a series of stoic black-and-white photographs, opening up new artistic dimensions in the world of Hide the Pain Harold memes. Then we have another beautiful autumn picture with the signature smile, along with a couple of super serious Harolds. And finally, my absolute favorite: If you can’t get enough of Harold, then check out his TED talk on waking up as a meme-hero.
