At the moment, no company – or nation – is yet ready to claim or take advantage of private property in space. But the US$350 billion space industry could change quickly. Several companies are already planning to explore the Moon to find raw materials like water; Helium-3, which is potentially useful in fusion nuclear reactors; and rare earth elements, which are invaluable for manufacturing electronics. The new product gives creators a way to monetize their content. They can access the feature through Anchor, Spotify’s podcast creation tool. After marking episodes as subscriber-only, they can publish them to Spotify and other platforms. Creators initially won’t have to pay the streaming giant to use the service, although they will have to cover the transaction fees. From 2023, Spotify plans to introduce a 5% fee for access to the tool....
Some users on the Stadia Reddit have reported their Chromecast Ultras overheating and shutting off while they’re playing games with Stadia. The devices run extremely hot when this happens. We don’t have enough data on their reports to figure out if it’s Stadia that’s the problem or a defect with the Chromecasts. I’m not particularly surprised — I’ve used vanilla Chromecasts more than I have Chromecast Ultras, but they’re not precisely the most robust pieces of tech in the world....
