The project, which Chinese financial news site Caijing says has been in development for seven months, is the continuation of a separate deal with niche handset manufacturer Smartisan. The Bytedance-owned company said it removed over 16 million videos in India that violated its community guidelines during the time period. Overall, the company removed more than 49 million videos — 1 percent of total video posts on the platform. Colin McCabe, 39, Toby Woods and Robert Price, both 36, made over £1 million selling Class A drugs on the dark web, Thames Valley Police said. According to the BBC, the drug dealing network was discovered by the FBI which then got in touch with UK police. English speaking Korean news outlet Chosun reports that the United Nations’ (UN) Security Council Sanctions Committee has been prompted to investigate the situation. According to a quarterly report from the UN committee, North Korea set up a “shipping and logistics firm run on a blockchain platform” earlier this year to evade international sanctions. The firm, called Marine China, was run by a single individual. Upbit’s hacker began transferring the funds out of their wallet approximately four hours ago. The transactions were generally divided into lots ranging from 10 ETH to 100,000 ETH. At pixel time, the hacker’s first Ethereum wallet is entirely empty, and the 342,000 ETH is now split between four different addresses. One analyst tracking the hacker believes they’ve begun looking for a platform on which to launder the funds, sending small “testing” amounts to cryptocurrency exchange Huobi....
The service is scheduled to take off on May 4, and will use drones developed by Matternet, a California-based aerial delivery company.
